About This Site

Understanding a Henry County arrest or booking photo means knowing which office created the record and what that record shows. Local custody, police incident reports, court files, and state corrections records come from separate systems. This private guide explains those differences and points to official sources, but it hosts no arrest records or mugshot galleries.

A Guide to Henry County Record Sources

Tennessee's Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. ยง 10-7-503, provides access to many government records, subject to legal limits. In Henry County, the Sheriff's Office oversees local jail operations and the Corrections Facility creates intake records and booking photographs. The county does not offer a verified public booking roster or daily booking feed. Court files show what happened after booking. The Tennessee Department of Correction's FOIL search serves a different purpose: it covers people in state custody or under supervision. We explain these distinctions while the records themselves remain on their custodians' systems.

What the Guides Cover

The pages on this site explain how to follow an arrest record through the offices that create and maintain it:

  • The Henry County arrest-record guide explains what county booking records and photos can show and how custody information differs from court outcomes.
  • City pages for Paris, Puryear, and Henry distinguish police incident records from county jail bookings.
  • Custody information explains the different roles of Henry County Corrections, Tennessee's offender search, VINELink notifications, and federal or immigration locators.
  • Records guidance introduces the county public-records request process and explains how court files show the later case outcome.

What This Site Cannot Do

Henry County Recent Arrests is privately operated. It has no affiliation with a government agency, sheriff's office, jail, or corrections department in Tennessee. We provide directions to official sources, not government services.

  • We cannot release, hold, or transfer a person in custody.
  • We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, or send money for anyone.
  • We cannot give legal advice or act for a court or law-enforcement agency.
  • We cannot guarantee a phone number, fee, or address has not changed.

Only the office holding the person can confirm current custody or release. Contact Henry County Corrections or the agency named in the record for an official answer; this site cannot verify a person's status.

Search Partners and Referral Fees

Some pages include search boxes run by independent providers. Those providers set their own prices and determine what their tools return. If a visitor reaches a paid service through one of these tools, Henry County Recent Arrests may receive a referral fee that helps support this free guide. That arrangement does not give us control over a partner's prices, search results, or records.
